Ill Manors print: branding


1) The conventions in this include the title, review quotes, central image, institutions, release date, feature of website and social media, and the age rating.

2) Some of the design features that show the Ill Manors Brand is the use of the logo at the centre which is quite unique and people who recognise the film would recognise the film from the style of the font. In addition to this, the logo features "Plan B Presents" which would also be a significant feature that would signify to an audience that this would be of Ill Manors since this is his first and currently only film. 

3) The synergy that is present in this example would be the reviews. Men's Health has talked about the film being "Powerful" and this link would show that they are trying to promote their film from positive reviews.


1) The conventions would include logo, tag line, date, and social media. All this could be useful for an audience who are interested in the film. 

2) The design features include the logo that is presented at the centre which would suggest that it would be the main focus point on the film. Inn addition to this, Riz Ahmed is present which could suggest that his character is a part of the branding for Ill Manors.

3) The synergy that is present here would be the tag line. This tag line was present in the trailer which could suggest that this tag line could try and intrigue an audience into watching the film. Besides that this is a film poster that would promote he film quite like some of the articles which had also tried to promote the film.


1) This would attempt to advertise the album that would also release along side Ill Manors. Some of the convections could include the use of logo to signify that it is linked with the film. There is also a release date that would be seen as useful as it would try and purchase the album. And there is branding of Plan B which would try and promote the album.

2) The design features are quite similar as this uses that logo which takes up most of the space. In addition there is the "Plan B presents" which also takes up some space which could suggest it's significance in the promotion.

3) The synergy that is presented is the use of Plan B and Ill Manors as both would use them as branding to try and attract an audience into getting the album. There is also the use of #ILLMANORS which is npresented in print fort a majority of the time and the trailers.
